Spooky Spider Web Cheese Quesadilla

Spooky Spider Web Cheese Quesadilla

This Spooky Spider Web Cheese Quesadilla is a fun and festive Halloween snack that combines melty cheese with a creative spider web design for a perfect spooky treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 black olive, sliced (for spider body)
  • 4 black olive slices (for spider legs)
  • Cooking spray or a little butter

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with cooking spray or butter.
  2. Place one tortilla on the skillet and sprinkle evenly with cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.
  3. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Use a spoon or piping bag to drizzle concentric circles of the cream cheese mixture over the melted cheese on the tortilla.
  4. Using a toothpick or skewer, drag lines from the center of the tortilla outward to create a spider web design.
  5. Top with the second tortilla and cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom tortilla is golden and cheese starts to melt.
  6. Carefully flip the quesadilla and cook an additional 2 minutes until golden and cheese is melted through.
  7. Remove from skillet, place on plate, and cut into 4-6 wedges.
  8. Decorate the top with a spider made from black olive slices: one large slice for the body and four slices on each side for legs.

Notes

For extra flavor, add some finely chopped jalapeños or serve with salsa and guacamole on the side.
