Mango Lemonade

Mango Lemonade

Refreshing and naturally sweet mango lemonade that combines the tropical flavor of mangoes with tangy lemon juice for a perfect summertime drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-5 lemons)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup sugar or honey, to taste
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the chopped mangoes and 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the mango puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove pulp, if desired.
  3. In a large pitcher, combine the mango juice, freshly squeezed lemon juice, remaining 3 cups of cold water, and sugar or honey. Stir well until the sweetener dissolves.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more sugar or lemon juice, if needed.
  5. Serve the mango lemonade over ice cubes, garnished with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes

For an extra refreshing touch, chill the mango lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving or add sparkling water instead of still water for a fizzy version.
