Enjoy tender and flavorful salmon infused with fresh lemon and dill, perfectly cooked en papillote on the grill for a healthy and aromatic meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 lemons, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Parchment paper or aluminum foil for wrapping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Tear four large sheets of parchment paper or foil, enough to fully wrap each salmon fillet.
  3. Place a salmon fillet in the center of each sheet.
  4. Drizzle each fillet with olive oil and sprinkle with minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  5. Top each fillet with lemon slices and chopped dill.
  6. Fold the parchment paper or foil over the fish and seal the edges tightly to create packets.
  7. Place the packets on the grill and cook for 12-15 minutes, until the salmon is cooked through and flaky.
  8. Carefully remove the packets from the grill and serve immediately, garnished with extra fresh dill if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, add thinly sliced fennel or a splash of white wine inside the packets before grilling.
