Baked Ground Beef Mini Tostadas

These Baked Ground Beef Mini Tostadas are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer featuring crispy baked tortillas topped with seasoned ground beef and fresh toppings, perfect for any occasion.

  • 12 mini tostada shells
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with diced onion and garlic until beef is browned and onions are soft.
  3. Drain excess fat, then add taco seasoning and water; simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
  4. Place mini tostada shells on a baking sheet and evenly distribute the cooked beef mixture on top.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over each tostada.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from oven and garnish with diced tomatoes, cilantro, sour cream, and olives as desired.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For extra crunch, lightly brush the tostada shells with olive oil before baking. Feel free to customize the toppings with avocado slices or jalapeños for added flavor.
