Air Fryer Parmesan Tilapia

Air Fryer Parmesan Tilapia is a quick and healthy seafood dish featuring tender tilapia fillets coated in a crispy parmesan crust, perfect for a flavorful weeknight dinner.

  • 4 tilapia fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix together Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Brush both sides of each tilapia fillet with olive oil or melted butter.
  4. Press each fillet into the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, coating both sides evenly.
  5. Place the coated fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd.
  6. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fish is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
  7. Carefully remove from the air fryer and serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

For extra crispiness, spray the fillets lightly with cooking spray before air frying. Serve with a fresh salad or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
