Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings

Crispy and zesty, these Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings are perfectly seasoned with fresh lemon and cracked black pepper for a deliciously light appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, salt, black pepper, lemon pepper seasoning, lemon zest, lemon juice, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
  3. Place the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded.
  4. Cook the wings for 25 minutes, shaking the basket every 8 minutes to ensure even cooking and crispiness.
  5. Check that the internal temperature of the wings reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Remove the wings from the air fryer and garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, pat wings dry before seasoning and avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket. Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing and celery sticks for a classic pairing.
